Fish and Chips and a glass of fizz!
Saturday 25th July.
A break away from the Chats de Chatillon refuge for us both today. We headed over to Sainte Soline 79120 to say Thank You to the lovely team at Ark 79 for their wonderful donation last month. The money received has really helped to cover the ever-increasing vet’s bills. But in addition, lots of their lovely customers had donated cat food, cat litter, cushion and toys for all precious cats and kittens. The day was made extra special for Alan because the chippy van was on site at Ark and we both had a delicious treat of fish, chips and mushy peas.
After Ark 79 we headed a few minutes down the road to the very pretty Le Petit Moulin Chambre d’hote. They were playing hosts to the Hot Tubs In France summer tour and we just had to go over and say a Big Hello and Thank You to Nicola and Tim for sponsoring our pretty little Pebbles. Their regular monthly donation is a massive help towards paying Pebbles’ special diet and medication bills.
And to top it all off we had a lovely chilled glass of fizz with Nicola and Tim. It really was the most glorious day, and good to get away for a few hours.
