Buddy (Morphee)

We thought that you would like an update on little MORPHEE, the kitten that tested negative for FeLV, was adopted and then returned 4 weeks later after testing positive.
This poor boy has spent the majority of his short life living by the rubbish bins in Parthenay scavenging for food and he was only 6 months old when he was rescued.

Just 3 weeks after being returned to our refuge he is now known as BUDDY because for whatever reason, he responds to this name really well.

Buddy is living with his new foster mum who has shown him endless patience and love. He has taken nearly 3 weeks to come out from under the bed in the daytime and begin to socialise. There is no greater reward for his new family.

His health has stabilised and he is looking so much brighter, more like a happy little kitten should. He couldn’t be in better hands than with Sandie – and Sammy the rescued dog. We know there could be a bit of a rocky road ahead but we will all do everything possible to give Buddy the wonderful life that he so deserves.

If you can spare a few €uros to help us continue to help Buddy and other kittens and cats just like him, please visit our Donations pay where you can donate securely using cards or PayPal. Thank you for supporting Chats de Chatillon.
