It’s Ginger Cat Appreciation Day

As well as the whole of September being Happy Healthy Cat Month, the 1st September is also Ginger Cat Appreciation Day. And here at Chats de Chatillon we wanted to share some photos of our very beautiful ginger cats and kittens.

Pebbles

If you know the story of Pretty Pebbles then you will understand why she has such a special place in our hearts. When she was brought into Chats de Chatillon refuge earlier this year we really didn’t think she would survive the night. She was in a dreadful state, weighed less than 1 kilogram and was diagnosed with Feline Leukaemia Virus. Several months later, she is a beautiful, happy thriving cat. Pebbles is available for adoption, but because of her condition she needs an extra special loving family to adopt or foster her.

Simply Stunning

With her stunning ginger coat and incredible green eyes, it’s hard to believe that there is anything wrong with her.

The kind people at Hot Tubs In France currently sponsor Pebbles to help cover some of her special dietary needs. But if anyone deserves a loving forever home it is this plucky little girl.

She is approximately 18 months old, and is gentle, kind and loves to play. But she would need to be the only cat in the household. And there is no reason why she will not enjoy many happy years of good health. If you are interested in adopting or fostering this beautiful little girl please contact us for further details.

Ginger kittens

And these two little bundles of joy are our most recent arrivals! Beautiful ginger kittens Finn and Hutch, approximately 3 to 4 weeks old.

With just a hit of ginger

In our opinion Ginger Cat Appreciation doesn’t have to mean completely one colour. We have other darling cats and kittens waiting to be adopted who have coats of many colours, including a touch of ginger.
